Kumar Chheda

With a degree in commerce, Kumar Chheda is a filmmaker by surprise. Hailing from Mumbai, he started as the youngest writer and director of plays for his college, eventually becoming a University Gold Medalist, and performing plays all over the country. His first short film - DAL BHAT, with Sanjay Mishra, won the Best Short Film Fiction at the 69th National Awards and has played at multiple prestigious festivals around the world. He has also written, directed and produced multiple Advertisement films and short documentaries, while his first feature film is currently in its early financing phase. With more personal and heard hitting stories in the future, Kumar hopes to bring a stronger voice to his thoughts.
