Latika, a naive and cheerful girl, like billions of others, she is not meant to experience love, sex, or friendship with a man before marriage and supposed to be a ‘Good Girl’.
The good girl Latika gets married and seems to be living a happy life in her husband’s house. However, her friend Mayank discovers the harsh reality behind her apparent happiness. Mayank sees an opportunity for himself in her vulnerability. He takes a decision that is going to change Latika’s life forever.

Kanchan Pant started her professional journey as a journalist with NDTV in 2006, transitioning into the world of writing in early 2012. With one feature film, one short film, over 250 stories, two published books, and one documentary series to her name, Pant has carved her own niche. She has been the creative head of India’s most popular storytelling show, Yaadon ka Idiot Box (Big FM), besides Kahani Express (Saavn) and Quisson ka Kona (Red FM). Through her dedicated work on audio-based content, Pant has created numerous award-winning shows and campaigns. In 2021, Kanchan's trajectory took a leap as she ventured into film writing and directing with the film Dear Latika. In addition, she has also written a short film, Shikayat (2022), available on Disney Hotstar.
